Children can face many challenges in the DRC, including vulnerability to human trafficking, lack of access to education, sexual and gender-based violence, exploitation for labor, recruitment by armed groups, and/or discrimination based on a disability.

A project focused on both promoting the human rights of children and strengthening local support services can reduce human rights abuses and increase child protection in the province of Haut-Katanga.
