The Prince’s Countryside Fund is seeking applications for its Grant Program to improve the prospects of family farm businesses and the quality of rural life.

Cash Grants for NGOs to improve access to justice around the world
Conservation Grants to research and generate local solutions to environmental problems
Foundation Grants of up to € 100,000 to increase people’s resilience to disasters
Innovative grants to address poverty issues by helping communities reduce violence, promote peace and recover from crises
Through partnerships and events such as National Countryside Week, they celebrate and promote the value of the countryside. Projects from all across the UK are invited to apply for this funding.

Their vision is of a confident, robust and sustainable agricultural and rural community which is universally appreciated for its vital contribution to their British way of life and fit to support future generations.

Supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery locally-focused, legally-constituted not-for-profit organizations can apply for one year of grant funding from the Fund.

Funding Information

Grants of up to £10,000 available for projects from across the UK which are working to create resilient rural communities.
Who can apply?

Projects from all across the UK are invited to apply for this funding.
Charities, Community Benefit Societies, Community Interest Companies, Companies limited by Guarantee, Not for Profit Organizations, Social Enterprises, Unincorporated Associations (the list is not exhaustive).
What can’t they fund?

They cannot fund the following types of projects:

Capital funding for the purchase of buildings, land or for a major renovation.
Planning permission, surveys or feasibility studies.
Care farms.
Retrospective applications (where the project has already begun and money spent in anticipation of receiving funding).
Projects which do not demonstrate sufficient public benefit and in which private benefit is more than incidental.

Applications close on November 3rd 2020 at midday, but if a large number of eligible applications are received the Fund reserves the right to close the round earlier.
