Get Support of Upto SGD 20,000: Arts for Good Projects 2022 (Singapore)

Deadline: 8-May-22

The Singapore International Foundation (SIF)’s Arts for Good (A4G) Projects is a programme that brings together artists and different sectors of society to collaborate on arts-based initiatives for social good.

If you have an idea or a project that can demonstrate the power of the arts and culture to connect, support and uplift Singapore and global communities, they invite you to apply for it to be supported as an Arts for Good Project.

Objectives
The Arts for Good Project should:

Connect Singapore and global communities creatively for social good through the arts in view of social distancing practices and travel restrictions
Facilitate active engagement with or participation by different communities across borders
Feature hybrid means of production, presentation, collaboration or community engagement
Promote cross-cultural understanding, international collaboration and positive social change.
Focus Areas
Priority will be given to Arts for Good Projects that

Involve persons with disabilities, and/or
Address the theme of environmental and urban sustainability
Funding Information
Successful applicants may receive up to S$20,000 per project.
Support will be provided for expenses associated with general project development (eg artists’ fees, professional fees for project management), resources and materials, advertising and marketing, documentation, logistics and access needs. Local travel costs can be supported.
What kind of Projects can be carried out?
They encourage you to explore creative and imaginative ways to facilitate engagement with or participation by different communities across borders.
The project should use hybrid means in production, presentation, collaboration or community engagement. Given the prevailing global pandemic, the project should take into account social distancing practices and restrictions on international travel.
Who can apply for this support under the Arts for Good (A4G) Projects?
Applicants should be arts and culture practitioners, creative professionals or programmers with prior experience working with global communities through the arts.
Applicants can be based anywhere in the world, but the project must clearly contribute to connecting Singapore and global communities and facilitating engagements with different communities.
Applicants who collaborate with Singaporeans, Singaporean Permanent Residents or engage with Singaporean and Asian communities will be viewed favourably.
Individuals or companies may apply. All applications must have either an individual or a legally constituted organization to take legal and financial responsibility for administrative purposes.
