Focus Areas
Food insecurity: Fallon Health’s goal is to help maintain food assistance programs for those areas or populations that are particularly vulnerable to food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to traditional resources, they are looking to support new innovative programming, such as community gardens, mobile farmer’s markets, and summer feeding programs.
Senior health initiatives: With a focus on those most impacted by the pandemic, Fallon Health aims to support organizations and programs that provide services to seniors that overcome or mitigate social isolation and loneliness. Particular attention will be paid to programs that ensure access to care including behavioral health resources, safety in homes and communities, and access to food and utilities. Examples include:
Caregiver support services
Transportation to medical appointments
Healthy living programs
