Faces of Migrations announces Call for Project Proposals 2020 (Italy)

” Faces of Migrations”, is a project funded by the European Union that responds to the needs for participatory implementation of the 2030 Agenda and to the need to conduct global and integrated actions, working from the global to the local level, on the issue of migration. Its goal is to raise awareness of SDGs in relation to local migration.

The goal of sub-granting is to increase awareness of the SDGs and their link with migration at local and / or national level, and to involve the local population and public authorities at the local level, enhancing the role of migrants and of their associations.
“Migration Faces” is implemented in the following countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Slovakia.

In Italy the implementer of the project is FOCSIV.
The project envisages, at national level, the assignment to local groups of civil society organizations of 4 loans (maximum € 2,500 each), through the sub-granting scheme, aimed at the realization of effective awareness actions at local level , able to demonstrate a wide involvement of public opinion and political decision-makers.

Aims
This call for proposals is aimed at projects they help promote one sustainable development linked to the enhancement of migration. The proposals of project should be based on one or more of the following aspects:

Objectives
Actions should contribute to the following objectives:

raise awareness and involve citizens in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals and their link with migration.
strengthen and/or create spaces for dialogue on implementation, monitoring of SDGs with particular attention to SDGs directly linked to migration at local and/or national level.

Funding Information
The grant requested under this call for a submit proposals cannot exceed the maximum amount of 2500 euros.
Grants are subject to the payment of 85% of the prefinancing of the budget agreed at the beginning of project and 15% of the balance after the presentation of the reports on the basis of costs actually incurred.

The period of implementation of the sub-granted activities starts from the day of the signature of the contracts and must be completed by June 31, 2021. Implementation reports must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the end of the selected projects.
Place: the activities must take place locally and / or nationally in Italy

In order to qualify for a sub-concession, applicants must
Be a local legal entity and / or entity (registered before 2019).
Being non-profit
be established in Italy.
