EU Aid Volunteer recruits 01 Grants and Information Management Junior (Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh)

The EU Aid Volunteers initiative provides an opportunity to European citizens and long-term residents, from a wide range of backgrounds and with a diversity of skills and professional experience, to get involved in humanitarian aid projects, support the provision of needs based humanitarian aid in third countries and engage in volunteering opportunities through deployment.

Concern are looking for talented people with a relevant technical skillset who are committed to long-term service in the humanitarian sector who can demonstrate an outstanding ability to adapt to difficult circumstances, remain positive, motivated and productive.

Successful EU Aid Volunteers will benefit from:

Experience of volunteering in a large international NGO through and apprenticeship based in Concerns Head Office in Dublin; opportunity for continuous self development with the help of a mentor, line manager and online tools.

Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide support to enhance programme quality by contributing to the development of high quality donor programme proposals and reports, contribute to a strong system of grant management and donor compliance, set up and maintain knowledge management systems, and provide necessary documentation and other support to the country management team, as requested. In addition, responsibility for ensuring accountability/Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) implementation and adherence. The position is based in Cox’s bazar with frequent travel to field locations.

Salary

Volunteer Allowance

In line with EU Aid Volunteer daily allowances

  • Whilst in Dublin €667.79 per month
  • Whilst in Bangladesh €224.76 per month
  • Flights, accommodation, medical clearance, baggage allowance
  • Post deployment allowance of €100 per completed month of deployment provided as part of final payment
