EPA Green Enterprise 2018: Innovation for a Circular Economy Programme

The EPA has launched its Innovation for a Circular Economy Programme that will support companies and organisations in Ireland to develop and demonstrate consumer and business solutions that will stimulate resource efficiency and the circular economy.
Funding for the Innovation for a Circular Economy Programme is provided by the Irish Government through the Department of Communications, Climate Action & Environment. It is implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency as part of Ireland’s National Waste Prevention Programme.
The EPA-led, Green Enterprise: Innovation for a Circular Economy funding programme will provide grant-aid to demonstration type projects and is open to proposals from companies, organisations, public bodies and public benefit entities.
Focus Areas
The EPA are inviting proposals in the following areas:
- Food waste prevention
- Construction & demolition waste
- Plastics
- Eco-design
Funding Information
- For 2018, the maximum amount of funding available is €100,000 per grant award.
- Grant aid is provided on a co-funding basis, from 25% up to 95% of the total eligible project costs incurred.
