Role overviewWe are looking for a Marketing Intern to join ESS (Environmental and Social Sustainability), Africa’s premier advisory services firm focused on sustainable development and management of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks in Africa and emerging economies. The ideal candidate should be based in Senegal, with fluent English and French.This internship offers the chance for someone ready to provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. The Marketing Intern will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. They will coordinate our marketing campaigns. Their insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.Key responsibilitiesThe Marketing Intern will have the following responsibilities:
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaignsCreate weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote ESS Brand on various social media websitesDevelop ESS’ website and our marketing strategyCreate and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, ect.Track social media engagement to identify high performing ideas and campaignsCoordinate live and online events.Skills, qualifications & experienceThe right candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills in order to adequately respond to the requirements of the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing/ Communication or JournalismExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFluent English and FrenchStrategic thinking, analytical and research skillsMastery of the major social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TwitterAdvanced IT skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and good knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performanceExperience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing softwareOrganization and coordination skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to produce high quality contents.If interested, please send your application at:
