Embassy of Czech Republic in Phnom Penh seeking Proposals for Local Transition Projects (LTP) 2021

The Embassy of the Czech Republic is pleased to launch its annual call for proposals for the Local Transition Projects (LTP) directly managed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Phnom Penh.

1000 new grants and donors
Focus Areas

The projects shall focus on various sectors, namely:

support for civil society, including human rights defenders,
promoting freedom of expression and access to information, including media freedom,
promoting equal and broadest political and public participation,
support for the building of the rule of law institutions,
promoting equality and non-discrimination,
promoting human rights related to employment and environmental issues.
The project shall be realized by local non-governmental subjects (it ought not to become part-contribution to a large donor project/s).

View and receiving grant information
Funding Information

Funding provided by the Czech Republic for each project ranges between 200 000 CZK (approx. 8 500 USD) to maximum limit 500 000 CZK (approx. 22 000 USD).
Co-funding from the applicant or other sources is welcome.
Overhead costs are to be born by the applicant.
LTP Proposal Submission:

All proposals should be delivered in paper (hard copy) to the Embassy of the Czech Republic, iCON Professional Building, 216 Norodom Blv., Tonle Bassak, Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh, and in electronic form (subject: “LTP 2021”, scanned with stamp and signature, plus the original completed identification form – excel format)

Deadline Free Grants
Proposals must contain:

Completed Identification Form with stamp and signature;
Copy of the Document proving the applicant’s legal status (e. g. founding charter, license, registration paper with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior/MoU with the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) – if in Khmer, provide English translation as well (even non-official);
Copy of the Authorization of the signed person to act on the applicant’s behalf
Eligibility Criteria

Only organizations that can demonstrate their independent legal status in Cambodia can submit LTP proposal(s):
local non-governmental, community and not-for-profit organizations,
local academic and municipal institutions working on local projects.
Proposals must contain:
