DP World recrute 01 Responsable Communication

The Communications Manager, will be an experienced communications professional, a dynamic team player with good writing and critical thinking skills able to work in a multinational environment. Responsibilities will include corporate and marketing communications execution, key message delivery, content development, digital and social media activity, events, exhibitions, media relations and internal communications.

Responsibilities

Execute the region’s communications strategy in Senegal, targeting external audiences and employees in coordination with the regional communications team.
Develop integrated plans that support DP World Dakar objectives, in alignment with the Group’s messaging, communications strategy, and brand promise.
Liaise regularly with all functions to ensure materials reflect current positioning, key messages, and latest statistics.
Drive the creation of high-quality, accurate, written content, including speeches, news releases, fact sheets, executive briefing materials, presentations, blogs, and opinion pieces with the support of the regional communications team
Support DP World Dakar commercial, strategic accounts, and business development teams in organizing relevant exhibitions, roadshows, and sales activities.
Jointly with the regional team, develop DP World Dakar digital and social media to support business objectives, engaging with all audiences, especially customers.
Develop and oversee communications promoting the country’s sustainability initiatives within the group global sustainability strategy, Our World, Our Future.
Develop and maintain strong media relationships and in coordination with the regional team help prepare the country’s executives for media interactions.
Manage outside consultants, agencies, partners, and vendors as necessary
Manage DP World Dakar corporate and marketing communications budget.
Support the Ndayane port project team in their communication needs in liaison with the regional communications team
Monitor the media and keep the senior management and the regional communications team informed regularly

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum 5 years progressively responsible corporate communications experience
Solid experience in developing and maintaining communication programmes, meeting expectations and deadlines within budgetary guidelines.
A creative and innovative professional communicator able to inspire and support communications across a global organisation
Fast and capable with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a commitment to quality; ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, sensitive to working collaboratively with many different cultures and at different levels
Excellent written and verbal French and English language skills.
Self-starter who thrives under pressure, can prioritise multiple projects, take the initiative and is driven to achieve results in a dynamic environment
Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work done, big and small
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Knowledge of the industry a plus
