Role contextShape, drive and manage the operations function and define the country functional strategy to deliver a smooth supply chain and operational model for the targeted business volumes, meet products/ services standards and exceed quality standards in line with divisional strategy and business objectives, corporate guidelines and policie.Your profileCountry Operations ManagerCritical analytic skillsAbility to demonstrate high moral standard.Key responsibilitiesCraft the division’s operations strategy and contribute to the overall divisional business strategy in line with divisional business vision and objectives, corporate guidelines and policiesSet direction and drive end-to-end logistics operations (pick up to delivery) for the division ensuring safety of people, data and goodsLead, oversee and control highly strategic activities and initiatives across the division with significant impact on overall results and very high business risk potentialSteer desired installation, functioning and adjustment of all material infrastructureDirect preparation of operating budgets and proposals for investments, and drive major operational investmentsOversee the opening or closing of facilities and evaluate operational aspects of mergers and acquisitionsTake decisions and authorize critical production agreements/ contracts with key accounts, changing terms and conditions significantly where requiredDevelop and monitor the applications of operating processes, systems and technologies, operating structure and models, as well as work flowFormulate processes and establish well-coordinated systems for providing adequate human resources and logistics infrastructure to deliver logistics servicesDefine and drive achievement of service and quality objectives across the countryUnderstand and anticipate changes/ growth in country business volumes and operational requirements, evolve operational capacities to profitably deliver logistics servicesIntroduce and embed world class operations and logistics practices at the divisional levelDeliver innovation that directly influence the way the division is operating and making money

Education & experience

University Degree from relevant fieldInterpersonal skillsTwo or three years of experience in logistics and transportation.
