DHHS/NIH announces “Intersection of Sex and Gender Influences on Health and Disease” Program in the U.S.

The U.S Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking applications for its grant program entitled “The Intersection of Sex and Gender Influences on Health and Disease”.
The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite R01 applications on at the influence and intersection of sex and gender in health and disease including:
- research proposals that examine sex and gender factors and their intersection in understanding health and disease.
- research that addresses one of the five research priorities in the new 2019-2023 Trans-NIH Strategic Plan for Women’s Health Research “Advancing Science for the Health of Women.
Award Information
Application budgets may not exceed direct costs of $350,000 per year.
