DHHS/HRSA announces “Maternal and Child Health Public Health Catalyst” Program (United States)

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is seeking applications for its Maternal and Child Health Public Health Catalyst Program.
The purpose of this program is to
- develop and/or expand MCH curriculum, competencies, and degree offerings within schools of public health where there is currently a lack of, or limited, MCH offerings.
- strengthen the public health graduate student competencies in MCH.
- recruit graduate student trainees from underrepresented racial/ethnic backgrounds to complete MCH coursework.
Funding Information
HRSA estimates approximately $730,000 to be available annually to fund up to nine grants under the MCH Public Health Catalyst Program.
Eligibility Criteria
Domestic public or nonprofit private institutions of higher learning may apply for training grants.
