As a HR Senior Associate within the Dalberg Africa Talent team, you will strike a balance between getting into the weeds to apply your knowledge and HR expertise and designing strategic plans for the future as a strong employee advocate.

Typical Qualifications for a HR Senior Associate:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- A Master’s degree in a management/administration discipline and or Certification in Human Resource Management from a recognized certifying body is desirable.
- Fluent in speaking and writing in French and English.
- Mastery in Excel or PowerPoint.
- 8+ years of experience leading Human Resource function in a similar organization/function.
Technical Competencies for an HR Senior Associate:
- Solid general knowledge and experience of good practice in HR/Talent Management, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement & motivation.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws.
- High level of specialist knowledge and experience in HR systems management, including rewards management.
- Good knowledge of people management systems and software; especially the use of HR metrics to support the development of strategy.
- Understanding of the political and cultural environments of international organizations or environments.
