Cyngor Gwynedd launches Food Scheme Grant Programme in the UK

The Cyngor Gwynedd has launched the Food Scheme Grant Programme to support food and feeding schemes to support an increasing number of people experiencing food poverty.

What?

• They invite applications for grant funding towards schemes that achieve one or more of the following
  • Support Food Banks
  • Support Feeding Schemes for vulnerable people (hot meals, meals on wheels, eating clubs, supper clubs)
  • Support Food Parcels/Food Package Community schemes to support vulnerable people.

Funding Information

• Maximum grant available;
  • Capital – Up to £5,000
  • Revenue – Up to £2,000

Eligibility Criteria

• Applications are invited from community groups, charities, community and town councils, and voluntary organisations.
• The fund will not be open to applicants that have already been successful within the 2024 – 2025 financial year.
