Mission

Reporting to the General Manager of the cluster, your main missions within the CMA CGM Senegal cluster will be :

  • Facilitate change management and transformation within the cluster agencies
  • Ensure that the quality of service is up to the group’s standards
  • Preserve our reputation by ensuring that our services are capable of driving sustainable growth
  • Ensure that agency processes are in line with the core model and are working properly
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, and produce periodic reports to the cluster’s General Management and to the relevant departments with a focus on areas of improvement and possible solutions
  • Work in close collaboration with all cluster countries (Senegal, Mali, Mauritania, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau) and provide support to the General Managers of these agencies.

Responsibilities

You will support the Management and the departments of the cluster in the changes and transformation (Implementation of the basic model / Integration of the brand / Configuration Operation of the cluster / Outsourcing /

Deployment Lisa or other tools of the group) by the actions listed below:

  • Assist in the implementation of the core model in the cluster by ensuring that group processes and instructions are followed
  • Ensure that key performance indicators and performance are regularly monitored and addressed
  • Analyze, define and follow up on improvement actions with the relevant teams
  • Identify and share improvements, best practices, and tips
  • Assist the risk owner in the identification and analysis of risks and incidents, ensure that corresponding action plans are defined and implemented to mitigate them
  • Participate in the analysis and improvement of customer survey results, define local action plans to increase customer satisfaction
  • Conduct periodic process reviews to ensure tasks are being performed correctly by the teams in charge
  • Promote the LEAN approach within the agency to avoid duplication of work
  • Identify training needs and ensure that agency staff receive the required business training
  • Ensure cluster staff have access to Group tools, platforms, instructions, processes, and user guides
  • Coordinate EDI configuration and maintenance with partners and the HO (or regional) EDI team
  • Provide feedback on issues or challenges raised within the cluster to improve productivity and quality (gap analysis, specific improvement plan, etc)
  • Coordinate user testing with relevant departments for new features on CMA CGM Group systems and tools
  • Consolidate feedback/input/opinions from different departments on country regulations impacting the Group’s activities, ensure that stakeholders are informed in the agencies and at HO/RO level
  • Ensure that a business continuity plan is defined and implemented locally

Management reserves the right to request additional assignments.

Profile & skills :

  • Holder of a Master 2 in business administration or management, you have 2 to 5 years of experience in the maritime field.
  • You are fluent in English and French, both spoken and written; Wolof will be a real plus.
  • Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Organized, dynamic, autonomous, with a strong knowledge of project management, able to manage numbers and several projects at the same time.
  • You have a perfect command of IT tools (LARA, LISA Equipment, Pack Office, good Excel skills, etc.).
