Chemonics is looking for a potential Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Director who will be responsible for overseeing all programmatic and technical aspects related to surveillance and monitoring and evaluation activities. Experience in Cameroon is highly desired and proficiency in English and French is required for this position. We are looking for people who have the passion to make a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications for M&E Director:Advanced degree in public health, medicine, or M&E related field
At least 7 years of experience in health service delivery, including at least five years of project management experience in malaria or other public health programDemonstrated experience in surveillance and monitoring and evaluation of public health programs. Preference will be given to candidates with specific training and experience in surveillance and monitoring and evaluation of malaria programsStrong skills in data management, analysis, reporting, use and interpretationExperience with GIS tools and analysis, interpretation and reporting of M&E activities. At least 5 years of experience working in Cameroon, with a strong understanding of the Cameroonian contextDemonstrated ability to work with multiple partners on collaborative projects. Experience with USAID and/or other donors preferredFluency in English and French required
