CFPs: Organizational Development Grants Program in Kosovo

The Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) is accepting proposals for the Organizational development Grants Program.
The Organizational development grants enable organizations of various levels that have a clear direction for their development to apply for the development of any new or existing program, methodology or work approach within the organization.
In particular, these grants aim to support staff capacity building, development and implementation of internal systems and procedures, development of internal policies and documents, use of software and equipment or specific methodologies and approaches.
Areas of Intervention
- EJA Kosovo focuses on the contribution of civil society to policy-making, emphasizing the integration of citizens in advocacy efforts and the creation of spaces and practices for citizen engagement. The program aims to increase citizen participation in public policy processes at all levels, with priority areas including the participation of women and marginalized groups, improving socio-economic and cultural rights, strengthening the oversight role of civil society, empowering youth in policy processes, and civic education on human rights. The program emphasizes oversight activities, monitoring policy implementation, and addressing controversial topics, such as environmental issues and the representation of marginalized groups.
- EJA Kosovo is committed to supporting initiatives focused on addressing the rights and needs of marginalized groups. This includes women, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities: Roma, Ashkali, Egyptians, Serbs, the LGBTI community, the elderly and youth.
Funding Information
- The maximum budget requested for funding from this call should not exceed 15,000 euros.
Duration
- Organizations can apply for funding for a minimum period of 6 months and a maximum period of up to 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible to apply, applicant organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Be a local non-governmental organization registered under the law in force in Kosovo (branches of foreign and international NGOs registered in Kosovo are not eligible to apply);
- Be directly responsible for the management of the grant;
- Demonstrate capacity to manage the proposed grant;
- They have not been beneficiaries of the Institutional Grant from the first phase of EJA Kosovo (2020 – 2023)
- Oganizations may submit only one application to this Call for Proposals.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The following activities will not be supported:
- All activities that do not directly contribute to organizational development;
- Activities in which the beneficiary organization serves only as an intermediary for third parties;
- Organizational development activities that have multiple levels of approval from third parties and therefore carry high risk during implementation and achievement of results;
- Activities that are directly related to or support political parties;
- Interventions that are contrary to the core values of EJA grantees.
