The DOST–Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) is inviting concept proposals to support applied research, innovation, and technology development initiatives under the NEXUS program (Nurturing Exemplars of Unified Scientific Solutions).

  • Eligible expenses: Personnel services, maintenance, operating costs, capital outlay essential to the project

  • Excluded costs: Capital/infrastructure expenditures, stipends/fees for master’s or doctoral studentships

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants include:

  • Public and private universities and colleges

  • Research and Development Institutes

  • R&D consortia and networks

  • Non-profit laboratories and science organizations

  • Other public or private non-profit S&T institutions in the Philippines

Requirements for non-profit organizations:

  • Must operate primarily for scientific, educational, or public service purposes

  • Must not be organized primarily for profit

  • Organizations engaged in lobbying activities are not eligible

How to Apply

  1. Submit concept proposals via the DOST eProposal System by 15 March 2026

  2. Concept proposals are evaluated from 16 March to 15 April 2026

  3. Only approved concept proposals will be invited to submit full proposals through the DPMIS platform

Application Requirements

Proposals must include:

  • Completed DOST Proposal Form

  • Supplementary files and detailed workplan

  • Endorsement from the head of the applicant agency

  • Gender and Development (GAD) score sheet

  • Letter of intent or cooperation from collaborating partners
