The Community Foundation is pleased to offer 10 grants to eligible organizations in Southwestern Alberta at $5,500 each.

Encourage community participation through adapting safe gathering spaces (examples include, but are not limited to: retrofitting parks, trails, and community halls.)
Collaborate with at least one other organization to carry out the project.
Ineligible Projects
Projects not eligible include:
Projects led by schools and/or School Districts
Core operating costs for ongoing programs and services
General fundraising campaign contributions or sponsorships
Fundraising events or activities
Retroactive expenses incurred prior to the final grants decision date
Deficit reduction
Advertising and marketing
Activities that serve primarily the membership or purposes of religious or political organizations
Seminars, conferences, workshops, or the publication of studies
Team or group tours or travel, or travel reimbursement paid directly to individuals
Projects that do not benefit residents of Southwestern Alberta

CRA qualified donees, including charities and municipalities, with a business number (BN) located in Southwestern Alberta.
Go to Canada Revenue Agency’s Charities Listings website to determine whether your organization is a qualified done
Their region stretches from the U.S. border north to Arrowwood, and from the B.C. border west to Grassy Lake. You must be located within this region, or carry out programming within this region, to be eligible for funding
