Centre for Science and Policy (CSciPol) Virtual Annual Conference 2020

Deadline: June 1, 2020

Apply to participate in the Centre for Science and Policy Virtual Annual Conference. Each year, the Centre for Science and Policy’s at the University of Cambridge hosts a conference which explores topics at the intersections between science and policymaking.

This year instead of holding a one-day annual conference in London, they will be delivering a series of virtual seminars in May and June on topics that CSaP and their network have worked on over the past year. Invited experts will offer insights into some of the latest research that has the potential to inform decisions taken by policy makers.

Over six weeks, they’ll host virtual workshop sessions on topics including:

  • Food strategy (21 May 2020)
  • Citizen science (28 May 2020)
  • Systems thinking (2 June 2020)
  • Net zero (4 June 2020)
  • Privacy enhancing technologies (11 June 2020)
  • Cohesive societies (17 June 2020)
  • Space science (18 June 2020)
  • Serious organised crime (25 June 2020)
  • Accelerating innovation (30 June 2020)

These virtual seminar sessions are designed to be accessible to lay audiences, policymakers, and scientists. No prior knowledge of the topic is required.
