Call for Proposals to promote Gender Equality

The European Commission (EC) is pleased to launch a Call for Proposals to promote Gender Equality.

Objective: Supporting, advancing and implementing comprehensive policies to promote women’s full enjoyment of rights, freedom from gender stereotypes, gender equality, including work-life balance, women’s empowerment and gender mainstreaming. Policy initiative supported: Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025.

Priorities
The following prioirities are foreseen for 2022:

Equal participation and representation of women and men in political and economic decision making
Tackling gender stereotypes, including with a focus on youth, and in advertising and the media
Funding Information
The available call budget is EUR 6 800 000.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
be legal entities (public or private bodies)
be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
non-EU countries:
countries associated to the CERV Programme or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature
other eligibility conditions:
organisations which are profit-oriented must submit applications in partnership with public entities or private non-profit organisations;
the project can be either national or transnational;
the application must involve at least two organisations (applicant and partner);
the EU grant applied for cannot be lower than EUR 75 000.
