The Regional Cooperation Council Secretariat (RCC) is seeking proposals for the implementation of the actions under the Grant Work Programme 2018-2020 in the Western Balkan region with financial assistance from the RCC Small Grants Instrument.

The specific objective of the CfP is to achieve the objectives/results stipulated by the Triple P Tourism in SEE: Promotion, Policy, and Pilots project.

Within this Call for Proposals six (6) info sessions will be organised in the eligible economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the period from 16 to 26 July 2018. Info sessions will be organised in cooperation with Tourism Expert Group coordinators from respective economies. Info sessions will be held for interested stakeholders, where detailed presentation on the Guidelines for Applicants will be delivered. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions in regard to the content of the 1st Call for Proposals.

Priorities

The confirmed priority areas of intervention, as per conclusions, are:

• Cultural tourism, and in particular the themes of
  • the Crossroads of Civilizations as regional identity – fortifications to be the first product archipelago to introduce the identity
  • Archaeological sites from Roman period
  • Art and design of post-World War II monuments – establishing the new product regional route
• Adventure tourism:
  • Via Dinarica including related programmes (i.e. Trans Dinarica)

Funding Information

The 1st Call for Proposals will be in the total amount of EUR 540,000.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:

• belong to one of the following categories:
  • non-governmental or non-profit making organisations,
  • associations or foundations;
• be a legal person or a local authority;
• be established in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia or The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia,
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action, not acting as an intermediary.
