Call for Proposals: People-to-People Project Pilot in the Czech Republic
Deadline: 23 October 2018
British Council has launched the call for proposals for the People-to-People Project in the Czech Republic, supporting civic dialogue and innovation across the region.
It has been funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), and will be delivered by British Council in areas of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. British Council is looking for local organisations to co-deliver activity during the Pilot.
The programme aims to strengthen social cohesion, promoting co-creation in and between different groups. Activities will develop the infrastructure for social enterprise, and build the core skills to support this growth. They will also bring communities into a conversation with the UK, building the exchange of ideas and best practice long-term.
An initial five-month pilot is planned from 1 November 2018 to 31 March 2019, establishing a proof of concept under three key themes:
- Social Development
- Community/Applied Arts
- Schools and Core Skills
British Council is seeking organisations with a demonstrable track record in these fields, who can support delivery for the initial phase.
Amount: between GBP 19,000-22,000
Open to: local organisations active in the relevant fields
