The Maxon Foundation Fund was established in 2009 when assets of The Maxon Foundation were transferred to The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. The Maxon Foundation was originally established by Maxon Corporation and the founding family as a way to give back to the community and support worthy causes in Delaware County.

Funding Information

Most grants from the Maxon Foundation Fund will be awarded in the $5,000-$15,000 range.
Eligibility Criteria

The Foundation does not make grants to individuals and generally does not make grants for religious purposes, for covering budget deficits, for travel, for fundraising events, for endowments, or for projects normally the responsibility of a government agency.
Grants are generally awarded to 501(c)(3) organizations.
