Call for Proposals for “Active Involvement of Young People with Disabilities/Disabilities in Civil Society Activities” – Serbia

The Youth Disability Forum and the Association of Students with Disabilities have announced a call for proposals for projects of civil society organizations working with youth, as part of the Contest “Active involvement of young people with disabilities/disabilities in civil society activities”.
The call is published as part of the project “Digital and Media Literacy of Youth with Disabilities/Handicap”. The project is being implemented by the Forum for Youth with Disabilities, in partnership with the Association of Students with Disabilities, the Youth Association of Serbia and the Secons Group for Development Initiative. Contributors to the project are the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Government’s Team for Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction. The project was supported by the European Union as part of the Civil Society Facility and Media Program 2016-2017.
Objectives
- The overall objective of the competition:
- Improving civic participation of young people with disabilities/disabled in the local community, through the use of digital and media literacy.
- Specific objective of the competition:
- Creating inclusive programs and projects of civil society organizations, applying the principle of equal opportunities for all;
- The active involvement of young people with disabilities / disabled in the local in zajedn the board, through the creation and implementation of projects of civil society organizations;
- Use and promotion of digital and media literacy as a tool for civic participation.
Funding Information
- The total allocation for this call is 20,000.00 EUR. (Defined resources are calculated without VAT. As the projects financed by the European in is not exempted from VAT payment, it will be done exemption from paying VAT in the Tax Administration, in accordance with instructions received from the Youth with Disabilities).
- And the amount of funds per project is 4,000.00 EUR.
- The maximum estimated duration of the project is 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Holders of the project
- The right to compete for the allocation of funds for financing projects in his capacity as the holder of the project have organizations will civil society organizations that are dealing with young people or working with young people.
- The conditions that the developer must fulfill are:
- to be a legal entity;
- to be a non-profit organization ;
- to be local organizations of civil society that is organized as in socializing for young people to socialize young people or organizations of civil society that in its Statute recognizes young people as one of the target group .
- Project partners:
- Partnership on the project can be realized with non-profit local entities, namely:
- Civil society organizations
- Public institutions and institutions
- Cultural and educational institutions
- The media
- The project promoter is obliged to submit, within the tender documentation, a protocol on cooperation, with clearly defined roles, rights and obligations of the partners, with information on the representative in front of the partner who will be responsible for the implementation of the project.
- Partnership on the project can be realized with non-profit local entities, namely:
Activities
- Activities training, education and building capacity, including seminars and workshops;
- Introducing innovative models and approaches;
- Campaign to raise awareness of the public, the publication of materials to inform citizens;
- Organization of public events;
- Media events;
- Production of media content (electronic, print and media production);
- Promotion of civic activism in the community;
- Networking and building partnerships;
- Other activities in the context of the general purpose of the competition.
