Gauteng, GautengReference Number: 45 890 VG Job Description:Our client is looking for a skilled Sourcing & Contracting Specialist with a background in contractor mining to join their team in Gauteng. Responsibilities:Management of supplier contracts, performance reviews, validation and expediting of contract deliverables.Overseeing process compliance and correcting under-performance.Ability to analyse the capabilities, costs and risksCommercial negotiations to secure favorable contract outcomes.Maintain and update contract records and report on contract activity.Develop and contribute to sourcing strategies.Providing mentoring and training. Requirements: Qualification and SkillSupply Chain or Financial Degree.10 years previous experience in a similar role within a mining environment.Strong experience in sourcing and contracting with contractor mining experience.Experience in executing operational and capital related projects.Experience working in fast-paced environments across multiple packages.Effective stakeholder engagement skills and experience across all levels.Strong grasp of contract management principles.Able to work with minimum supervision and a high level of integrity.Candidates must currently reside in South Africa, preferably in the Gauteng region.
