Johannesburg, GautengReference Number: 004 3003 SV Job Description:The purpose of this position is partner with Project Managers to ensure assigned projects are commercially well set-up and executed. Ensuring contract commercial issues are handled and escalated in a robust manner while ensuring complete, accurate, timely project financial reporting.  Responsibilities:Project planningBudget control, commitment, and order trackingTransaction processingReconciliations and ReportsCash flow managementForecasts and profitability managementFinancial management
Requirements: Qualification and SkillBachelor’s Degree in financial accounting / Management Accounting  Cost Accounting qualification, such as CMA or CIMAMinimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an appropriate role with experience in Engineering and/or MiningMinimum 3 to 5 years’ experience with both LSTK and EPCM projectsExposure to projects outside South Africa, such as in African countriesMust have worked in multiple currency environmentsCosting – understands work breakdown structures, billings rules, allocation methodsCost accounting – demonstrated ability to apply costing methodologies, such as cost allocations, relevant costs,   incremental costs and standard costsFinancial accounting – demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles, such as revenue recognition, matching  and period controlInternal controls – understands the concept and applies sound methodsGood communication and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Office skills (such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Integrated accounting, cost control, ERP packages, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, otherwise similar such as Oracle,    Syspro  Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent contract
