Northern Cape, South AfricaReference Number: 128-0904LH Job Description: Our client is in need of an experienced Plant Manager with commercial acumen to oversee their processing plant operations in the Northern and Western Cape. Responsibilities:Overseeing all processing plant activities in the area of responsibility including operations, maintenance and client liaison and management.Ensuring KPI’s are achieved with a particular focus on availability, throughput and recovery.Ensuring top quality service is provided.Ensuring that health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to.Budgeting and cost control.Mentoring and training subordinates. Requirements: Qualification and SkillMetallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Degree or similar qualification.10 years’ experience in process plant management within base metals environments.Experience in continuous improvement, R&D, debottlenecking and plant performance maximization.Previous contractor management experience.Commercial acumen and client management experience.Computer literate.Valid driver’s license.This position is only open to South African nationals currently residing in the Northern Cape, Western Cape or surrounding areas. Benefits and Contractual Information:Permanent contract.
