Parts Pricing Manager (Pricing Strategies / Manufacturing / Mining / SSA / OEM / EE ) – East Rand , South Africa Reference Number: 047 1910 RR Job Description:This position is responsible for researching, developing, delivering and driving the implementation of pricing strategies and robust and sustainable commercial systems for parts- and tools-related contracts across the sub-Saharan region (+/-R1bn value pa), through analysis and review of current pricing and related commercial practices, to achieve effective and efficient contract maintenance & performance, service levels and maximization of revenue and profits for the organization. Responsibilities:Analyze profitability per customer and develop solutions to remedy historic pricing inconsistencies while ensuring the relationship remains intactDevelop and implement systems that monitor pricing per customer, building in controls for regular pricing review, and provide tracking reports/alerts for managementTogether with key stakeholders in the business, develop creative options for customers to develop win-win solutions to retain their business while ensuring pricing is aligned (in need over time) to pricing strategyCollaboration between internal parts team in terms of high dependency on parts pricing.Collaboration with the sourcing team as part of the Sandvik localization strategy.Implement required systems and provide the necessary training/communication/change management interventions to ensure acceptance and understanding of requirementsDevelop and implement systems for succession management of parts on contract.Analyze pricing inconsistencies across countries within the region and develop solutions to ensure a consistent approach that is commercially soundDevelop and implement systems that support the application of consistent pricing in different countries and the flagging of deviationsEnsure that monitoring and controls are in place to alert management to inconsistencies so that these can be addressed timeouslyImplement required systems and provide the necessary training/communication/change management interventions to ensure acceptance and understanding of requirementsManagement of the Pricing team that consists of the Pricing Analysts.
Requirements: Qualification and SkillB.Com Finance or AccountingAt least 5years Pricing Management experience, preferably in mining or industrial sectorsValid Driver’s LicensePhysical & Medical ability to function in a mining environmentAdvanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, Business Insights – QlikviewEnglish proficiencyOperational experience will be advantageousFinancial background will be advantageousLocal and global travel but this should not exceed 25% of timeSouth African Citizens are encouraged to apply Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent employment contractHighly competitive annual packageAnnual performance bonus Please visit www.camining.com for more exciting opportunities.
