Limpopo, South AfricaReference Number: 122-0803LH Job Description:Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse who will be responsible for providing nursing services as part of the on-site medical team to facilitate medical examinations and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries of employees at their mining operations in Limpopo. Responsibilities:Performing medical examinations and tests and providing other occupational health services.Emergency and primary health treatment within the scope of practice of professional nurses as laid down by SANC.Counselling and wellness services on health and wellbeing issues including HIV counselling.Administrative duties including filing, statistics, medicine control and all admin duties relevant to nursing care.Assist with clinic housekeeping duties.Standby as required.Assisting with research projects.  Requirements: Qualification and SkillNursing Diploma or Degree.Registered as a Professional Nurse with the SANC and SA Nursing Association.Experience in Occupational and Primary Health.5 years’ experience as an Occupational Health Nurse within the mining industry.Occupational health qualification advantageous.Industrial Audiometry qualification advantageous.Computer literate and able to use a variety of software programs. Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent contract.Relocation required.
