Job Description:

Our client a Large Distributor is currently looking to recruit a Facilities Engineer to be based in Kenya, reporting to the COO.  The incumbent should have experience managing a highly mechanised facility with exposure to radio shuttles in the warehousing facilities.

Responsibilities:

Maximise plant uptime and OEE

Drive sustainable initiatives

Manage a large Budget

Create Maintenance Budgets

Manage the installation of plant machinery and equipment

Oversee regular maintenance, through inspecting the mechanical pallet racking system to prevent downtime

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

Manage engineering team

Implement, Develop and Improve Health and Safety regulations related to the use of plant machinery and equipment

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Qualification: B Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronic)

5+ years’ Experience in a warehousing facility with knowledge of high mechanical equipment and exposure to radio shuttles
