Reference Number: 077-1109LH Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer from a background in the mining industry or a similar technical environment to join their team in the Northern Cape. Responsibilities:Ensure that goods and services are procured at a reasonable cost.Ensure that goods and services are provided within the required timeframe.Maintaining records and documentation.Continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure that health, safety and quality standards are maintained.Supplier negotiations.Requisitioning quotations.Commercial evaluations on tenders. Requirements: Qualification and SkillPurchasing Diploma or similar qualification.Trade Certificate advantageous.Matric certificate.Drivers license.5 years previous experience as a Buyer in the mining industry or a similar technical environment.Well-versed on QlikView, JDE and Oracle.Applicants must have South African citizenship and currently reside in South Africa. Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent contract.Relocation required.
