Role Purpose

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative/business support services to colleagues across our office in Senegal, ensuring that corporate standards are met.

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

  • Maintain petty cash, post transactions on SAP and keep accurate records
  • Ensure that there are always adequate supplies of stationery in stock.
  • Support onboarding and off boarding of new or existing staff
  • Responsible for all British Council premises maintenance work with a view to ensuring that the premises is fit-for-purpose and contractors deliver to the required standard

Role specific knowledge and experience

  • Experience working in a business support role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and multi-task

Minimum requirements

Qualified to University degree level

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Degree in finance or business-related subject

Further Information

  • Pay Band – BRC-2-F
  • Salary: XOF 367,223.00
  • Contract Type – Two (2) year fixed term contract
  • Location: Dakar, Senegal
  • Language requirements: English at Proficiency Level B2 and French at Proficiency Level B2
  • Role holder must have existing rights to live and work in the country the role is based.
  • Role could require some domestic and international travel
