Job summary

The License Management Advisor is responsible for monitoring BPSIL compliance with its scheduled obligations under the JOA & PSC and UUOA.

License management duties 

  • Managing/maintaining and updating the License Management and local correspondence tracker for Senegal
  • Processing and managing the delivery of the License Management team letters including JIBs, cash calls, Reports, Votes (VBN), Bid lists, RTA and all other documents and items from LM and Finance teams…
  • Managing the delivery/dispatching of Confidential Seismic Data to Ministries, Government officials, and NOC partners and all reports including monthly& quarterly Reports
  • Managing License Management & Commercial/ follow up with JOA and UUOA partners on all outstanding items, contractual obligations and requirements, deadlines of partners votes and thresholds that prompt action items to happen.
  • Overseeing the logistics of TCM/OCM and related Commercial events in country including external logistics, room booking, ground transportation etc. with the support of logistics and travel team.

Permit management duties 

  • Managing/maintaining and updating the Permit Management and local correspondence tracker for Senegal
  • Supporting with preparation of documents required for Vessel Permits and transmission to regulators
  • Following up with regulators on all permit related outstanding items
  • Attending relevant calls supporting Permitting
  • General administrative duties
  • Managing and/or Support all Submittals & letters received from the local team (Finance, tax, C&A, Logistics and travel team)
  • Reception and management of letters on behalf of local staff and send scan to appropriate recipients
  • Acting as the custodian of the office stamps for transmittals and letters (letters, data, Finance invoices, contracts, purchase orders etc.)
  • Payroll data entry

Education required

  • BS or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration ; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in similar role

Experience required

  • We are looking for someone working in the field of extractive industries in a role which involves strong interaction with the Administration.
  • 5 to 7 years strong Administration experience
  • Responsible for coordinating activities of a team to deliver administrative support to a range of business areas, assisting with the proactive management of administrative activity and safe, compliant, effective and efficient day-to-day operations, whilst ensuring discretion and confidentiality.
