Role Overview

We’re looking for a committed full-time Content creator to support our citizen mobilisation push in the 2024 EU elections, from March to June 14. You will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring Europe continues to stand as a strong democratic force.

Joining one of the world’s leading public organisations, your expertise in creating written and visual contents will be leveraged to execute targeted campaigns aimed at preserving our human rights and dignity, as well as the environment during the EU elections.

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of European politics, filming and film editing skills, and experience crafting compelling content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital channels.

This position is a unique opportunity to shape Europe’s political future in alignment with justice, equality, and human dignity.


  • Develop engaging content, including video, graphics and visuals, tailored to specific European elections campaign objectives and target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the campaign team to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas that resonate with voters across Europe.
  • Write and edit persuasive copy for social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and other digital platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends and engage with online communities to amplify campaign messages and foster meaningful conversations.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all campaign materials.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and optimize future campaigns.


  • Experience creating content for political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or media outlets.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and grammatically correct content under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using social media and chat platforms (incl. TikTok and WhatsApp), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Mailchimp).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of French politics, institutions, and electoral processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to interpret data and adjust content strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English is an advantage.


Avaaz is a virtual organization, with most of our work done online. Our staff are based all over the world. For this position, the candidate needs to be based in France, ideally in or around Paris.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary varies with location and experience, and is highly competitive with leading international nongovernmental organisations. The monthly compensation for this position ranges from 4.800 – 7.000 EURO.
