Poste proposé : Program Manager

The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project for Public Financial Governance – Phase II (RISPFG) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for Program Manager.

The services included under this project are :

Setting up a performance-based project management system which would include setting up of overall project framework, clarifying core implementation needs for key stakeholders and developing baselines on indicators
Establishing a baseline against which to measure progress with achievement of the indicators
Establishing targets and timelines for their achievement against the project indicators
Implementing project deliverables to include, amongst others, facilitating participation of stakeholders, determination of execution of capacity building requirements, coordinating or joining external supervision missions
Coordinating annual work planning and budgeting for the project
Establishing the project’s management information system as a base for project steering and decision-making during implementation.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Program Manager

The Individual expert is expected to have among others the following qualifications and key competencies :

The applicant shall have a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, or related field, obtained from recognized accredited universities
Having a master’s degree would be an added advantage
He must have at least 5 – 10 years of working experience in project management, managing multiple projects, of which at least 5 years must be in donor related funded projects across the African Continent or internationally.
