By green entrepreneurial ideas, The Trag Foundation means innovative ideas that apply the technology and knowledge of the business sector to organize and jointly solve social problems, relying on community resources and protecting the environment in the function of sustainable development.

In partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation, The Trag Foundation seeks creative and innovative ideas for organizing and solving community problems together, relying on community resources while preserving the environment.

The program is intended for citizens’ associations, foundations, endowments, cooperatives and companies that are planning to become solidarity entrepreneurs or are in solidarity Entrepreneurship beginners.

Objectives

Promoting creativity and innovation in adapting business models to social solutions problems by protecting the integrity of the ecosystem, through the presentation of good practices and education citizens;
Encouraging the development of sustainability of solidarity entrepreneurs by targeted and guided financial support;
Affirmation of the participation and responsibility of citizens in identifying and working on the key problems in their communities through a participatory approach to planning, implementation and evaluating program performance.
What will support

In this program, they support the sustainable development of solidarity-based entrepreneurs or start-ups. This means that in the application they want to see the plan of work and development of the entire solidarity enterprise. While participating in program, in the later stages after the first selection and mandatory training, users will decide in which part of the business would use a grant from this program.
There is no restriction on the financing of the types and / or range of activities required to start or develop them of a solidarity enterprise.
Participation by other donors is desirable but not a condition for receiving a donation. Own participation from revenue activities must be an integral part of the business plan.

The program, through a public competition, awards three US $ 5,000.00 donations to citizens’ associations, foundations, endowments, cooperatives and companies that plan to become solidarity entrepreneurs or start-ups in solidarity.
The annual profit does not exceed RSD 1,200,000.00.
Eligibility Criteria

Legal entities registered in the Republic of Serbia – associations can apply for participation in the program, foundations, endowments, cooperatives and companies (partnerships, joint ventures, partnerships with limited liability companies and joint stock companies):
whose legal representatives are domestic natural or legal persons;
whose members are / are founders of both domestic and foreign natural and legal persons;
who are planning to become solidarity entrepreneurs or are new to solidarity entrepreneurship;
The definition of solidarity entrepreneurs in preparation means that the legal entity is in the planning and / or start-up phase of a solidarity enterprise.
The definition of solidarity start-up entrepreneurs means that a legal entity implements a solidarity business plan enterprises for a maximum of one year. They consider the beginning of the realization of the business plan of the solidarity company start selling products on the market.
