The Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition (CVC), through funding made possible by the “Robert Carr Fund Exceptional Opportunity Funding” is pleased to announce their campaign: “Protect Our People!” (POP).
This POP campaign is aimed at mitigating the Impact of COVID-19 on HIV Programs for Inadequately Served Populations by supplying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to community outreach workers, peer education teams and other frontline staff, so that they can continue do their vital HIV prevention work. It is important for these persons to keep themselves and others safe during these harrowing times of COVID-19.
Funding Information
A maximum of US$1,000 dollars per organisation is available to purchase PPE for a 3-month period.
Eligibility Criteria
Community Organisations from Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia and Suriname are invited to apply for this funding over the next 3 months. Organisations interested in receiving an award should send:
A budget for an amount of US$1,000 or less, listing the PPE being requested by the organization and showing the cost of each type of PPE and a list of the suppliers to be used.
At least three (3) Quotations from the local supplier(s) who will provide the PPE. If multiple suppliers are being used, then separate quotations/invoices must be sent from each supplier.
