The Dubbo Regional Council is pleased to announce the Event Assistance Program.

Events play an important role in their Region, providing a diverse range of vibrant experiences and delivering social, cultural and economic benefits to the local community. Dubbo Regional Council is committed to supporting the development, growth and sustainability of local events through the two streams that form the Event Assistance Program.

Funding Categories
  • Community Events Fund
    • Supporting locally organised events that create social connections and improve the liveability and wellbeing of their residents.
    • Funding limit: $3,000
    • Eligibility Criteria
      • Event organisers that are not-for-profit.
    • Ineligible
      • Events not being arranged by a not-for-profit organisation.
      • Events not held in the Dubbo Regional Council Local Government Area.
      • Events that have received funding for the same event under another channel of funding provided by Dubbo Regional Council.
      • Events that are organised to raise funds for a charity or organisation.
      • You are a religious group or religious event.
  • Destination Events Fund
    • Stream 1 
      • Supporting events that deliver significant economic benefits
      • Funding limit: $10,000
      • Eligibility Criteria
        • Locally organised events with the potential to deliver significant economic benefits.
      • Ineligible
        • Events not held in the Dubbo Regional Council Local Government Area.
        • Events that have received funding for the same event under another channel of funding provided by Dubbo Regional Council.
        • You are a religious group or religious event.
        • You are a political organisation or your event has a political purpose.
    • Stream 2 
      • Incentive funding to attract and retain major event activity delivery substantial economic benefits.
