Applications open for Civil Society Actors in the Eastern Neighborhood Countries

The New Democracy Fund has launched a new call for applications from civil society actors in the Eastern Neighborhood Countries (ENC).
The aim of the call is to support and strengthen regional partnerships, cross-country/cross-thematic alliances, and to utilize windows of opportunity.
Thematic Areas
- You can apply for support to projects within the following five themes:
- Youth
- Media
- Culture
- Labor market
- Green and Just transition
Funding Information
- Applicants can apply for up to 53.000 EUR/400.000 DKK.
Eligible Projects
- The NDF supports projects that fall within the following areas:
- Sustainable and long-lasting cooperation between civil society actors in the ENC and in Denmark.
- Countering restrictions and human rights abuses, to overcome risks and emergencies and reclaim civic space.
- Using new windows of opportunity and political openings for pursuing democracy, human rights, and sustainable development.
- Short term actions to search, continue and/or develop existing or new partnerships.
Eligibility Criteria
- Civil society actors from the ENC can apply.
- Civil society actors are broadly defined as civil society organisations, social movements, media, academia, trade unions, as well as community-based groups and organisations, including cultural, educational, and knowledge institutions.
