This position is responsible to performing QA testing on the terminal to different internal costumers.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for validation and execution of the test procedures for QA testing with live equipment in the terminal, testing the equipment as a standalone project with commissioned equipment and IT integrated, covering TOS, GOS, M2M (BMS, TLS, ACL, etc.) and other terminal systems.

This testing of new or optimized functionality (new releases) must be aligned with the APMT TM2 automation approach and terminal operational requirements as well as develop and deploy APMT TM2 terminal specific processes, interfaces and applications.

This position is responsible to performing QA testing on the terminal to different internal costumers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIE

Quality Assurance Engineer working closely in association with Automation/Interface, M&R, IT and Operations teams and, where needed, supplier representatives

Validate that configured and commissioned IT systems, Interfaces, automation control systems meet specified requirements per scope of supply and operational procedures set forth in the established test procedure and agreements.

Support creating scenarios to testing of system & automation integration. Validates test output  intended to meet operational function before handover to Terminal Operations.

Support with documenting of testing scenarios and all corrective actions for “failures” occurred during testing.

Coordinates with M&R, Automation/Interface, IT and Operations team and, where needed, suppliers representatives, the test procedures for new releases. This is in regards to TOS, GOS, M2M (BMS, TLS, ACL, etc), and other terminal systems integrated and using the live equipment.

Reporting of non-conformances (NCR) and support the resolution process. Develop, review, and implement corrective action plans to address systemic issues within the TM2 organization.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will have a closely work with Interface, IT and Operations teams for guiding & tracking the issues between disciplines.

Participate in meeting with mentioned stakeholders discussing testing scope, schedule, needed resources, test findings etc.

Who we are looking for

University degree or Bachelor of Science (BSc+) in Software Engineering or related field

Requires at least 2 years of experience in industrial system design and testing in a medium to large organization

Familiarity with port equipment/systems/processes or moving machinery is a plus.

Knowledge in simulation and emulation platforms (e.g. Matlab) and related output documentation is a plus as well.

Demonstrated knowledge SQL, Oracle, JAVA, Web Servers & Service.

Demonstrated knowledge JIRA , HPQC

Strong organizational skills with high discipline personality.

Testing interfaces between different layers of software and hardware.

Ability to interact with suppliers, vendors and external consultants

Speak/Write/Understand English on working and communication level is a must.
