Key responsibilities
Responsible for follow-up on the operation for available windows for maintenance by participating in Eng/Ops daily meeting and engineering section supervisors for available resources and man power for maintenance
Ensures that work orders are created for any single maintenance job.
Ensures that upon the completion of the job, the work orders are properly updated in IFS.
Checks the readiness of any special tools/parts/materials required for any specific job.
Prepares preventive maintenance schedules, periodic inspection, servicing, certification issuing plans and repairs schedule for all terminal equipment with the assistance of reliability and quality engineers
Assess the maintenance requirements for Terminal Equipment and Assets.
Monitors the condition of equipment through periodical test (oil analysis, thermography, ultra sound, etc.).
Studies maintenance procedure and propose improvement by using predictive maintenance techniques to improve maintenance planning and exam the conduct equipment inspection (visual, infrared and ultrasound).
We are looking for
College degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent experience or suitable major with three years experience in Port Engineering and/or maintenance planning, spares, reefer activities & repairs.
A good working knowledge of terminal maintenance (port or air) practices and principles. Specific working knowledge of support equipment, cranes, and power generation is required. Technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades, planning maintenance, servicing and repair of light to heavy vehicles and equipment.
Requires an understanding of equipment in order to carry out duties related to maintenance.
