IT forms the backbone of the terminal, ensuring a maximal performance of systems and a smooth and timely exchange of data required to support, run and optimize the Terminals IT systems. With a strong commitment to the day-to-day operation and a focus on the future, our IT department sets a new standard for both APMT and the sector.

To make sure we remain one step ahead at all times, we are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist

As IT Infrastructure Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring network performance and ensuring the IT network infrastructure availability & security and proper functioning 2nd level support for local users.

Key responsibilities

Manage network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repair

• Manage virtualized server environment.

• Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly

• Maintains network infrastructure such as switches and routers and diagnoses problems with these or with the behavior of network-attached computers

• Maintain proper functioning and provides support for virtual infrastructure, Wireless network and radio equipments, telephony and access control

• Analyze technical issues, provides feedback to both internal organization and suppliers

• Lead various projects with internal experts and external suppliers

• Collaborate with project teams to manage system interdependencies

• Actively contribute to the implementation of projects/tasks within the defined scope, time and budget within the framework of IT Company policy based on the initiatives from management team and ensure that the infrastructure is always ready for future requirements

We are looking for

IT engineer profile with Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Proven Experience in Cisco Equipment Management, Network Protocols and standards Strong knowledge of operating system

• Proven experience in virtualized environments.

• Must have thorough understanding of LAN/WAN and server architecture for installation, administration, and on-going maintenance

• Must have a thorough understanding of applied networks technologies including: protocols, RF, optical ring topology, etc

• Must have a thorough understanding, Voice telephony and related infrastructures

• Enterprising, stress resistant, communicative, organized, analytical, pragmatic

• Must be detail oriented, able to work independently in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines

• Have a continuous improvement mindset for the systems and processes for their respective areas of responsibilities

• Ability to communicate constructively with the user community and with system editor support services as well as working in team

• Willing and able to work in standby rotation for 24/7 support of the terminal

• Fluent in English, both in word and in writing
