APM Terminals operates one of the world’s most comprehensive port and integrated inland service networks and continues investing in new business opportunities as well as upgrading current facilities. Project Execution (PE) is the function responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for project implementations, governance and standards to be used in the APM Terminals wide organization and is directly responsible for large CAPEX driven projects including greenfields, major expansion as well as upgrades and retrofits to existing facilities.We will soon kick off significant capital expansion project at our existing operation in Tangier, Morocco. Whilst the physical outputs of this project are tangible assets, the real value of the project is achieved by growing the business. Therefore, the purpose of this position is to act as the lead to ensure full integration between the new phases and the existing business. Closely liaising with, consulting and taking guidance from TM2 operations and automation as well as aligning with the needs of other functions is key to success.

Key responsibilities• Drive the integration of the project outputs (assets) into the overall TM2 operations/organisation. Focus on the project deliverables such as operational process, training and performance.• Fully comprehend and effectively communicate the key dynamics and interdependencies of project delivery and container terminal operations in the context of this project.• Provide input into relevant project plans such as risk management, issue management, schedule, configuration management and stakeholder management.• Together with the Project Manager, manage the formal communication and relationship between the Project and Terminal.• Ensure, in line with the Terminals Business processes and BPM, that the new expansion fits in the same setup, and ensures that any changes during the project to the business setup are assessed and addressed.• Creation, delivery and maintenance of a project integration plan to support the project objectives. This will include consulting and coordinating with Project, TM2 Terminal functions, HQ functions and other relevant parties.• Whilst the existing business team will hire, onboard and train operational employees to utilise the project assets, the Integration Lead will consult with Terminal HR and Operations to coordinate input required from and for the project• Support the effective application of Change Management, Risk Management, Project KPIs and Document Management.• Closely work with Project Controls function and support the Project Manager in correct and timely reporting to Steering Committee, HQ, internal teams and other relevant stakeholders.• Whilst this is a lead role, managing interfaces will include more than just communication, it will include accountability and responsibility for preparation, delivery and management of business integration plans and strategies.• Ensure project teams are always in close collaboration and alignment with the existing terminal organization teams to deliver the project and minimize disruption to existing operations. Ensure project and terminal is always aligned and work as one big team, collaboration is key to success!

We are looking for• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing interdependencies in large scale complex projects – preferably in projects with multi-dimensional stakeholder management.• Experience working in capital expansion projects.• Experience in working in a matrix organisation and in a functional role.• Professional project experience, e.g. project management, stakeholder management, risk management, project controls, communication.• Excellent analytical skills combined with problem solving skills: Ability to rationally assess a situation, problem or scenario and work through to a realistic summary, conclusion and practical resolution options.• Role model for collaboration, cooperation and teamwork combined with effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.• Good communication and presentation skills, where an excellent level of English is a must. Command of the French language is an advantage.• Advance skills in MS Office.POSTULER
