AMD Corporate hires 01 IT MANAGER on behalf of LAGARDERE

TRAVEL RETAIL, French multinational and world leader in its

field.

 

Rôle

 

Reporting to the Country Director, the primary roles of the IT Manager are to:

  • Carry out the IT applications developed by Lagardere Travel Retail specific to the Duty Free activity including tills & cash collection (Winshop), retail management (SAP), finance & customs (SAP) and Reporting (BW) among others.
  • Ensure the seamless and efficient delivery to the company of the various IT services outsourced to our local service provider such as office technology (PCs, laptops, cell phones, internet, etc.), store connectivity, IT support to stores, warehouse and H.Q., etc.
  • Ensure that all IT tools (hardware and software) function properly and are used properly by operators.
  • Continuously improve the overall IT effectiveness and its interaction with the business, in partnership with the users, local service provider and Lagardère Travel Retail IT team.

 

Main missions

 

Local Support & Training

  • Audit, analyse, train, guide the users and supply solutions to their problems.
  • Take inventory of functional needs, analyse incidents, anomalies or user requests in order to provide a targeted, functional, lasting solution.
  • Propose and eventually develop various application software needed for local activity.
  • Advise, assist and train end users for an optimized usage of systems.
  • Train users on new applications.

 

Infrastructure & network

  • Operate as the interface between the Lagardère Travel Retail IT team and the local users (monitoring, recommendations, etc.)
  • Ensure security protocols are in place and adhered to.

 

Hardware & equipment

  • Manage provision, maintenance and replacement of functional hardware equipment (ex: cash registers, credit cards payment terminals, PCs, printers, etc…)
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the computing equipment on local sites in collaboration with the local service provider and Lagardere Travel Retail IT team.

 

Methodology: know and advise users on significant processes such as:

  • Financial cycles (weekly, monthly, yearly…)
  • Reporting to customs
  • Stock takes
  • Business analysis (reporting BW, alerts)

 

Process & Documentation

  • Contribute to Lagardère Travel Retail global best practices exchange system.
  • Create and keep up to date process descriptions.
  • Ensure existing documentation is communicated and available to users.
  • Facilitate process analysis.

 

Best practices relative to IT local usage

  • Identify local laws and constraints to adapt.
  • Optimize local IT resources .
  • Track local IT budget.
  • Facilitate project management.
  • Deploy or test for group projects (Ex. SAP Upgrades).
  • Participate in IT events

 

Performance indicators

  • Compliance with deadlines and budgets
  • Progressive development of users to minimize support
  • Problem management: analyse recurring incident and apply solution
  • Service contract optimization: analyse SLA and optimize budget
  • Technical environment availability and scalability to support business
  • Compliance with finance audit and corporate audit
  • Maintain documentations: application map, network map, security map, local functionality

 

Hierarchical reporting 

The IT Manager is reporting to the Country Director

Profile

 

  • Formation :
  • Master or engineering degree

 

  • Niveau d’expérience :
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role

 

  • Compétences ou qualités requises :
  • Network and infrastructure knowledge
  • Software competencies: POS, SAP (ERP environment), BW (Reporting Solution)
  • Good knowledge of retail business processes
  • IT Project management skill in international environment
  • Workplace management (Office 365, Windows 10…)
  • Planning tools
  • Pragmatism, synthetic, precision, organization, autonomy, dynamism
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage contractors
  • Languages: fluent in French and good level in English
