Job description
Serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Regional Financial Management Officer. The position supports the Financial Management Center (FMC) . The incumbent will be responsible for various financial operations of Department of State accounts, including ICASS, and all serviced agencies in Dakar, He/ She will serve as the timekeeper for FMC.
Job requirements
- Three years of progressively responsible secretarial and clerical experience is required.
- Job Knowledge: Knowledge of office management practices.
- Level I typing (40 wpm) is required. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; basic PowerPoint. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to interact with customers tactfully and diplomatically. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- English level III (Good working Knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. French Level III (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. (This will be tested.)
