Entity and activity description

In Alignment with our Company Program NEOS, for taking a different perspective to expand our business by leveraging our digital approach, our IT organization will undergo organizational and structural changes that will impact our organization in the next decades. In the Africa Cluster, this will be mainly characterized by the deployment of roadmap strategic projects, a 180° change going from a new Enterprise Resource Planing system (Navision), through Data Center consolidation, Business Intelligence, Industrial IT and a reorganization of IT human resource.
In order to face this growing and major challenges for our IT organization, we are currently seeking an IT Project Manager for the West & Central Africa region.

The IT Project Manager will work very closely with the Africa Cluster IT Manager, to support him in the deployment of local and roadmap related projects ( e.g Navision, ServiceNow, Power BI, etc) and also in the monitoring of existing products, processes and services.

This position will be located in a West Sahel country (preferred in Ivory Coast or Senegal) and will also require the IT PM to travel to countries of its scope.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and Implementing all technology-related projects and initiatives as agreed with IT the Area Manager.
  • Monitor IT operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements, reporting on IT costs, analyzing variances
  • Identifying and reporting on problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements
  • Complete local / zone Projects as required
  • Adhere to corporate best practices, procedures and safety requirements and lead by example.
  • Display Initiative by improving on any existing IT operation or service
  • Coordinates efforts between operations and technology teams, in order to effectively and efficiently deliver projects according to plan.
  • Identifying and reporting on problems, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements.
  • Contribute to maintaining organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by verifying Help Desk KPIs and spend (maximum) 20% of its time on assisting Help Desks agents to ensure critical issues are resolved as per defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) which are defined between the HelpDesk and the users’ entities.

Requirements

Experience

  • 3-5 years in IT project management
  • 5 years experience in Information Technology

Education

  • Bachelor degree in IT/Computer
  • ITIL Certification
