Advancing Healthcare Innovation in Africa (AHIA) invites African Scientists to apply to attend the 3rd annual Healthcare Innovation Conference. AHIA is a a transformative program for healthcare scientists in Africa and multi-phase initiative that consists of a three-day summer conference and ongoing advisory from leading professionals in science, business and law.
At the conference, Innovation Teams consisting of scientists and students are formed for each technology. The Innovation Teams collaborate for the entirety of the conference to create a development plan and tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing African healthcare systems.
AHIA is a program sponsored by Emory University in Atlanta, GA, USA and they are looking for African scientists to attend the workshop in Johannesburg, from 9 -11 July 2018. Scientists must apply to attend the conference. Travel and hotels will be covered for those selected. At the end of the conference, select scientists will receive ongoing advice to help transition their innovations from laboratory to market.

- Open to Scientists with innovative solutions that potentially address a current healthcare need affecting the African continent.
