ADICE recruits 01 Mision VSI/Junior EU Aid Volunteers, Gestión de voluntarios y promoción

The project is in line with the 2019 – 2021 three-year institutional work plan. It has two components: 1) Management of the volunteer program in its national version 2) Development of activities around the memory of the period of political violence that Peru experienced between 1980 and 2000. The work of volunteers will contribute to the management of the « Let’s Make Change for Human Rights » volunteer program by prioritizing their bets at the national level. Although it is planned to expand it, its work plan will include dissemination actions, training of tutors, monitoring and ongoing evaluation in order to professionalize the management of the programme and the achievement of institutional objectives. These actions will be reproduced on the Apurimac and Ayacucho sites by the APRODEH team. It will also contribute through concrete actions in the “El Ojo que Llora” memorial, in particular in the organization of commemorative activities, dissemination, exchange of experiences, systematization of information, organization of cultural activities and management of specific volunteers in the activities of the Memorial, can be trained to guide groups of students (optional). This volunteering position will take place in APRODEH that is a local organization developing mainly local and national development aid projects. It is expected that the volunteer to be autonomous and able to take initiatives to support the hosting organization and local community in the development of their projects and activities. Expected results/objectives : – National volunteering is strengthened through management appropriate to ongoing evaluation and priorities established in the Corporate Strategic Plan. – The tutors of the three institutional headquarters have strengthened their capacity to monitor national and foreign volunteers. – The memory of the victims (civilian, police and military) contributes to the processes of raising awareness among the new generations through commemorative, creative, reflective, educational and solidarity actions. – The memories of victims of enforced disappearances contribute to requests for justice and the application of the law on the search for the disappeared. Tasks:1. Support for the management of the volunteer programme
– Support for the management of national volunteers: convening, induction, capacity building of tutors, preparation of reports and statistics. 2. Support for work on historical memory
– Support for the implementation of commemorative, educational, creative and visibility activities, mainly in the « El Ojo que Llora » memorial, aimed at different audiences, giving priority to students. The activities are carried out in alliance with human rights organisations, victims’ parents’ organisations and schools. |

Salaire / Indemnité | Le candidat au statut d’EU Aid Volunteers doit être citoyen de l’Union européenne ou ressortissant d’un pays tiers, résident de longue durée dans un État membre de l’Union européenne et avoir au moins 18 ans.
Le volontaire ou la volontaire sera sélectionné selon ses compétences sa motivation et ses expériences loin de toute loi de discrimination basé sur le sexe, les religions, l’idéologie, la couleur de peau et le genre. Volunteers will have to adapt and be flexible with regard to the working and local environment, which is very different from that of Europe.
